You’ve probably heard on TV or in the media that thieves are becoming more and more tech savvy in their attempts to get their grubby paws on our most valued possessions, however, the latest scam to emerge seems to suggest that they are reverting back to basics.
Just when we think we are getting to grips with their methods of stealing, they come up with something like this!
Word on the street is that the latest trick thieves are using is THIS!
While your car door is locked sitting on your drive, the thieves slide a nickel or penny in the door handle of the passenger side.
The thieves who inserted the coin will now be able to penetrate your car and steal everything that interests them inside.
There have been reports that the thieves even wait in the back of the car ready to jack you when you get in.
Before getting in your vehicle check your passenger doors and your back seats.
To ensure this doesn’t happen to you make sure you check each door when you lock your car.
